La Vie En Rose Champagne Glass

I used to hide the everyday set in a drawer. The crystal holder has been on the table for three months now. Guests always pick up a fork and comment before we even sit. The gold pieces scuff a little if I stack them carelessly, so I leave them in the caddy.

Bought the heel glasses for date nights at home after years of plain stems. The crystal heel looks extra in photos, which I like. They feel a bit top-heavy if you fill them too high, so we pour lighter. Still the first thing we reach for on Fridays.

Gave the gemstone cups as a housewarming. They unboxed them and put them straight on the buffet. Color in the glass reads like jewelry next to white plates. One cup has a slightly thicker rim than the other, but they still look like a set.

We keep the unity pair on the sideboard, not packed away. Quiet Tuesday toast, anniversary, same glasses. They feel like a pair on purpose. I wish the stems were a touch taller, but we use them every week anyway.
